Summary:

Early this morning San Bernardino County Fire crews were dispatched to a reported residential fire in the 3100 block of 3100 Casa Loma Dr, San Bernardino. 911 callers stated a vehicle crashed in to the home and caught fire.

Firefighters arrived to find a vehicle and front portion of the home well involved in fire. Firefighters initiated a fire attack, working to limit the fires spread into the home. Firefighters worked simultaneously inside and on the roof to suppress the well involved fire and search for potential victims.

The fire was ultimately knocked down in approximately 30 minutes. All searches of the home came up negative. No injuries from the fire or traffic accident were reported. The vehicles occupants fled the scene prior to our arrival. San Bernardino Police is investigating the events prior to the crash & looking for the occupants.

The home received major damage and is uninhabitable. Red Cross was notified to assist with those displaced by the fire.

San Bernardino County Fire responded with four Engines, a Truck Company, Medic Squad and a Battalion Chief.
