Summary:
This morning San Bernardino County Fire crews were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 18000 block of Deodar St, Hesperia. 911 callers stated smoke from a home with people possibly still inside.
Fire crews arrived to find smoke showing from a single-story home. Firefighters initiated a search and fire attack inside the home, working to suppress the fire and search for potential victims. Upon their search they found two victims. The victims were pulled from the home to awaiting paramedics. Firefighters and paramedics immediately initiated advanced life support (ALS) & transported both victims to a local hospital in critical condition.
The fire was knocked down in approximately 10 minutes. The fire remains under investigation by fire investigators.
San Bernardino County Fire responded with three Engines, a Truck Company, two Medic Ambulances and three Fire Investigators. Victorville Fire assisted with an Engine.
