Incident: Residential Structure Fire
Summary:
This afternoon San Bernardino County Firefighters were dispatched to a reported residential fire on the 15500 block of Pine Ave, Fontana. 911 callers stated a living room on fire.
Crews arrived in less than four minutes to find smoke and fire showing from a single story, single family residence. Firefighters quickly initiated an aggressive fire attack, working to limit the fire’s spread through the home. Firefighters simultaneously completed a fire attack, primary search & ventilation operations.
Within 15 minutes of arrival the fire was knocked down and all searches of the home were complete. All searches came up negative. #SBCoFD Fire Investigators were requested & the fire remains under investigation. Red Cross was requested to assist those displaced by the fire. One firefighter received minor burns during firefighting operations. He was treated at a local hospital & has been released. No citizens were injured.
San Bernardino County Fire responded with four Engines, a Medic Squad, Truck Company, Battalion Chief & three Fire Investigators.
