CONFIRE Dispatch – The joint powers authority known as CONFIRE is the communications and dispatch hub for numerous fire agencies within San Bernardino County, including County Fire.
- CONFIRE dispatchers work as the “first” first responders when county residents dial 9-1-1.
- CONFIRE also functions as the operational area dispatch for SBCounty, responsible for coordinating mutual aid needs to and from the Region VI Office of Emergency Services Operations Center.
- CONFIRE is a vital resource during large scale incidents acting as a communication hub between multiple agencies to deploy coordinated resources where needed.
Office of the Fire Marshal
The Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) has a unique position within the Fire Department as the Inspection, Investigation, and Regulatory function of the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
