Join the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) team on Saturday, 12/02/23 from 9 AM to 12 PM
behind the Lucerne Valley Fire Station #8,
33269 Old Woman Springs Rd, Lucerne Valley, CA.  (Enter through gate on Ladera Rd)
The following items will ONLY be accepted from San Bernardino County Residents:
  • Antifreeze
  • Batteries (Household and Auto)
  • Oil and Oil Filters
  • Latex / Oil Paint
  • Sharps (in Approved Containers)
  • Fluorescent Light Bulbs
  • E- Waste
We Do NOT Accept…
• Business /Commercial Waste
• Wastes from foreclosed properties & non-profit organizations
• Non-San Bernardino County waste
• No other hazardous waste will be accepted
Before transporting, be sure that…
• Waste is properly labeled or in its original container.
• The container is no larger than 5 gallons. Transport no more than 15 gallons or 125 lbs.
• Containers are properly closed, sound and not leaking.
• Waste is securely placed in the back of the vehicle for safe transport.
The following guidelines apply…
• San Bernardino County Residents ONLY. Identification will be required.
• No Early Birds (waste brought before 9 :00am will not be accepted).
• Waste must be accepted by County Fire Protection District personnel
