Office of the Fire Marshal

While active in emergency preparedness and response to fires and hazardous materials incidents, the OFM also accomplishes the vital purpose of preventing emergencies through the education and enforcement of health and safety laws and regulations. 

The OFM also prevents emergencies by helping small businesses and residences to properly manage and eliminate hazardous materials and other hazards from homes and businesses.

With a staff of approximately 100 members, the OFM works as a team to protect life, property, and the environment for the health and safety of both present and future generations. 

The OFM includes the Hazardous Materials, Community Safety and Household Hazardous Waste.
