Cause: Under investigation

Current Status:

Favorable winds and increased overnight humidity allowed firefighters to make progress, reaching 10% containment. Crews worked through the night to isolate several hotspots and begin mop-up operations. Additional firefighting resources are arriving this morning to relieve initial attack personnel. Air assets remain active, with additional aviation support available as needed.

Weather Outlook (Next 24 Hours):

Brisk southerly winds will develop this afternoon, with gusts up to 32 mph on slopes and ridgetops. Humidity will remain low today (around 15%), with poor to moderate overnight recovery (up to 35%). Similar conditions are forecast Thursday, with slightly cooler temperatures but continued afternoon winds and low humidity.

Crews will focus on reinforcing containment lines, structure defense, and mop-up in priority areas. Fire behavior will be monitored closely due to expected gusty winds. Aerial operations will continue as conditions permit.
