¿Están Listos? (Are you ready?)

“Listos” means “Ready!” Disasters happen. Earthquakes, wildfires, rainstorms, tsunamis … sure, these things are rare but when they happen, you and your family need to be ready.

Why be prepared? In the face of a serious disaster you may not have the utilities you rely on and the police, fire, and emergency medical services will be overloaded. You could find yourself and your family without power, water, food, and medications for days or even weeks.

Aware and Prepare LISTOS was created to give you and your family the training and insight into what you need to be self reliant and prepared, to know how aid the injured, and how to stay safe.

The free curriculum includes:

  • Identifying Vulnerabilities
  • Creating reunification and communication plans
  • Important document back-up
  • How to shut off utilities
  • Fire Extinguisher use
  • Triage and basic first aid techniques
  • Disaster Psychology
