Summary:
This morning San Bernardino County Fire Crews were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 700 block of East 21st Street, San Bernardino. 911 callers stated smoke and fire from a home.
Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire showing from a single story, single family home. Firefighters initiated an aggressive fire attack, simultaneously working on a search of the home, an interior fire attack & vertical ventilation operations. Heavy fire conditions were found in multiple parts of the home. The fire was ultimately knocked down in approximately 30 minutes. All searches of the home came up negative. Six adults and two minors were displaced by the fire. Red Cross was notified to assist with temporary housing assistance. No injuries to firefighters or citizens were reported.
San Bernardino County Fire responded with four Engines, a Truck Company, Medic Squad, Battalion Chief & a Fire Investigator.
