The San Bernardino County Fire Protection District (#SBCoFD), in cooperation with the San Bernardino County Public Works, Mountain Rim Fire Safe Council, Wrightwood Fire Safe Council are offering wood chipping throughout the mountain communities prior to the summer and fall, when the threat of wildfire is elevated. In an effort to bolster safety in these areas, these agencies will assist residents in maintaining wildfire safety in their communities.
Residents are invited to bring cut brush and branches, limbs up to 15″ in diameter and 10′ in length. Limbs and brush only. Leaves and pine needles cannot be chipped. Chipping is available at no charge.
Residents may leave their debris on the curb in front of their homes and crews will pick them up.
