Incident: Structure Fire
At 2:46PM, San Bernardino County Fire (SBCoFD) crews were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire in the 2800 block of June Street in Muscoy. ME75 arrived on-scene to find a single-story home with heavy fire to the rear with multiple exposures.
Arriving companies initiated an offensive fire attack on the home while balancing a fire that spotted in to adjacent vegetation and a detached garage. Additional Engine companies were requested to assist with the well involved home and exposure issues. Ultimately the fire was knocked down approximately 45 minutes. Due to the fire being adjacent to State Responsibility Area (SRA) CAL-Fire also sent a response. Firefighters were successful in stopping the vegetation to approximate 1/8th of an acre and kept it from neighboring homes. During the firefighter one firefighter received a minor injury. He was seen at an area hospital and released the same day. The fire is under investigation by San Bernardino County Fire Investigators.
