SBCoFire Tower Physical Standards
Once you are successful in the selection process for firefighter/paramedic, you will start the Tower (SBCoFire’s Fire Academy). The following information is provided to help you prepare for the Tower.
Main workouts will include:
Standard to Complete Physical Training Program (PT Final)
All four bulleted items must be completed continuously in 30 minutes or less to receive 100% on your physical ability final.
- 3 mile non-stop run
- 100 push-ups (can be broken up)
- 100 sit-ups (can be broken up)
- 10 pull-ups (can be broken up)
